    At MKAD, our mission is simple. To teach professional and creative dance to all ages, in a fun and supportive environment that is full of trust, friendship and opportunity. We strive to help build each students love of dance and encourage them to grow throughout the year.

    From Tinies (ages 3-7) to our Advanced team, each student at MKAD is an important part of our dance family.

  • About Michele Keane

    The Michele Keane Academy of Dancing was founded by Michele Keane in 1969 when she was still during her high school years and completing her dancing examinations to become a qualified dance teacher.
     
    40+ years later, our dance family and the community we have built continues to thrive. It is the students passion for dance and their hard work and commitment that shows in their performances, examinations and achievements in class. Our students learn to dance in a happy and fun environment with teachers that bring a professional and creative energy to each class.
     
    Over the years , Michele has trained many students who have gone onto become Professional Performers and also many qualified dance teachers. Students of the Academy have always excelled in their Examinations, and  Senior Students have embraced the love of dance by now becoming Choreographers in different fields of teaching and musical theatre performances.  It is a credit to Michele that there are currently many past students who now happily send their own children to learn dance, as a result of their own positive experiences at the Academy. 

    Many great friendships have been forged with Senior students continuing to attend lessons on a weekly basis well into their 30's!!  Our classes have a friendly, fun and energetic atmosphere which nurtures the     love of dance, and that is what it's all about!!
     
    Michele is a fully qualified (C.S.T.D) dance teacher, adjudicator, holds a Blue Card, and is a fully Registered and Insured Business.
